![]() ![]() Next, if you are in the 200s section, best to use the escalators unless you like a good workout before the game. Great! So naturally, if you’ve never been somewhere the next question will be - where is Devil’s Den? They had no idea, and it was only about 20 feet away! The only reason I took a star off was the workers next to the Devil’s Den that printed out the cards were completely clueless as to where the Devil’s Den was! On the jersey voucher it said 25% off any jersey at Devil’s Den. Right next to their main “Devil’s Den” store they have this booth that will customize a hockey card of yourself with a position and number - absolutely free! My daughter loved that! After you complete that, they will give you a 25% off voucher for ANY jersey you may want to purchase. We had a hotdog that was just sitting in a heater, so naturally the bun was nothing but mush, so I don’t recommend that. The Hilton you will run into along the way. Go up one set of escalators by the Dunkin’ Donuts and just keep walking straight to “Gateway 4” building that will pop you right out by Prudential. The path to the prudential center from Penn station is as follows: once you depart the train, take the elevator up to “ML” Main Level. We also stayed at the Hilton inside Penn station just off the skywalk which we found to be extremely safe since we didn’t have to walk outside the station at all. First off, if you’re from out of town, we found using Amtrak at Newark Penn Station to be very convenient. Of the apple varieties, the Crimson Apples, Jonagold, and Golden Delicious looked and tasted the best.My daughter and I went to a Devil’s game at the Prudential Center as part of my endeavor to see every NHL team at their arena. ![]() However, that's only because it's so easy, there's absolutely no supervision or help, so it's only the fault of farm management. This is more a complaint against fellow visitors, who I saw damaging the trees and going against the precise rules. everything else was slim pickings despite the website saying that there were excellent conditions for them.Īs a side note, you're not allowed to eat the apples and then throw them on the ground without paying for them. If you go in October, don't expect any good veggies besides apples, beets, eggplants, and of course pumpkins. Lastly, I saw many people with only a small bag for apples and their picks, and I'd warn you that this is definitely not big enough for the vast amount of long fields of apples I think the 10lb box was a nice size (included photo for reference), but if you can get a cart then the 20lb is good if you want a good variety of many different apples and veggies. Prepare to ask another visitor any questions and pray they know more than you. Bring plenty of water and wear good shoes, and if it's not winter prepare to sweat, it's a big hike to get anywhere.Īdditionally, if you have any questions while picking or get lost at all, there won't be any workers available to help you. ![]() The lines to get on the hay wagons were exceptionally long as well. Even to just get to the apple picking spots, it's several miles worth, and there are not enough hay wagons in those areas to just get one to the next location. We also weren't aware that (first come first serve) carts were available for our boxes and PYO fruits/veggies we got a 10lb and 20lb box, the 20lb box was incredibly heavy to carry around in your arms throughout the miles of steep terrain. Secondly, when we got our tickets for PYO, we weren't given a map of the place and weren't even told a map existed they don't even tell you where to go after you check-in. be prepared to walk a long while or get there incredibly early to avoid the crowding. The parking situation on weekends is awful. now, most of that isn't the fault of management but I'll include it here so others can be aware of it. Overall, I would return, on a weekday, with a cart and a map, now that I know how everything works and enjoyed the scenery and delicious apples.įirstly, it is too overcrowded on the weekends with ridiculously long lines for the bathrooms AND the handwashing station had no water and wasn't working also, the lines for food were insanely long. It was a fun and beautiful experience BUT there were many failures because of the disorganized nature of the farm. ![]()
